Depth-oriented therapy can be hard to find, even in a city this size. As a Florida-licensed psychologist and certified psychoanalyst, I work with adults across Miami and South Florida by video — the same in-depth work, available wherever you are.
Schedule a ConsultationMiami is a city of constant motion — ambitious, international, fast. It can also be a difficult place to slow down and be understood. Many people here are navigating the pressures of demanding careers, the dislocations of immigration and family separation, bilingual and bicultural identities, and the particular loneliness that a crowded, transient city can produce. When something feels stuck, overwhelming, or quietly hopeless, the noise of the city rarely helps you make sense of it.
I offer individual psychotherapy and psychoanalysis for adults — work that goes beneath symptom management to the patterns, relationships, and early experiences that shape how you feel and act. My practice is grounded in contemporary relational psychoanalysis and intersubjective systems theory, with an attachment-theory influence.
Traffic on I-95 and the Palmetto can turn a 30-minute therapy session into a half-day commitment. Telehealth removes that entirely. From Brickell to Coral Gables, Coconut Grove to Aventura, Doral to Kendall, you can do serious analytic work from a private room in your home or office — without the drive, the parking, or the waiting room. For people with demanding schedules, young children, or limited mobility, online sessions make the consistency that real change requires genuinely possible.
Because depth-oriented psychoanalytic practitioners are often concentrated in only a few pockets of Florida, telehealth also widens your options dramatically. You are no longer limited to whoever happens to practice near your neighborhood — you can work with a clinician whose training and approach actually fit what you're looking for.
I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship and attachment concerns, and neurodiversity. I also work with adults navigating grief and loss, life transitions, and self-esteem. If you've tried briefer therapies and found yourself circling the same difficulties, longer-term psychoanalytic work may offer something different.
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of Florida (PY6593) and a Certified Psychoanalyst with more than three decades of experience. I completed eight years of post-doctoral psychoanalytic training and am a founding faculty member of the Tampa Bay Institute for Psychoanalytic Studies. You can read more about my background, the services I offer, or how online therapy works.
For a confidential consultation, call or email directly. I'll answer your questions and, if it's a good fit, we'll schedule a first session.
