In-depth therapy can be hard to find amid Central Florida's constant growth and motion. As a Florida-licensed psychologist and certified psychoanalyst, I work with adults across the Orlando area by video — serious depth work, on a schedule that fits your life.
Schedule a ConsultationCentral Florida draws people from everywhere — for work, for family, for a fresh start. Orlando has grown into one of the fastest-changing metros in the country, and that growth brings its own quiet strain: long hours in hospitality and healthcare, shift work that scrambles sleep and routine, the rootlessness of being new to a place where everyone seems to have just arrived, and the gap between a region marketed as endlessly cheerful and the ordinary human difficulty of actually living there.
I offer individual psychotherapy and psychoanalysis for adults — in-depth work that looks beneath symptoms to the patterns, relationships, and early experiences shaping how you feel. My practice is grounded in contemporary relational psychoanalysis and intersubjective systems theory, with an attachment-theory influence.
The Orlando metro is enormous and car-dependent. Between I-4 congestion and the spread from Winter Park to Lake Nona, Kissimmee to Sanford, getting to a weekly appointment can be its own obstacle. Video removes the commute entirely — you can do serious analytic work from a private space at home, around shift schedules and family logistics. For the many people here working non-traditional hours, that flexibility is often the difference between starting therapy and putting it off indefinitely.
Telehealth also solves a quieter problem: depth-oriented psychoanalytic practitioners are scarce across much of Central Florida. Working by video means you aren't limited to whoever practices near your subdivision — you can choose a clinician whose training actually matches what you're seeking.
I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship and attachment concerns, and neurodiversity. I also work with adults navigating grief and loss, major life transitions, and self-esteem. If briefer, symptom-focused approaches have left you circling the same difficulties, longer-term psychoanalytic work may offer something more lasting.
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of Florida (PY6593) and a Certified Psychoanalyst with more than three decades of experience. I completed eight years of post-doctoral psychoanalytic training and am a founding faculty member of the Tampa Bay Institute for Psychoanalytic Studies. You can read more about my background, the services I offer, or how online therapy works.
